Over 35 million spectators have marvelled the Blue Man Group, now coming to finland for the first time!
Sensational show in Main Auditorium on September 14–16.
The hugely popular American theatrical phenomenon Blue Man Group comes to Finland for the first time on their upcoming World Tour. Performing in Tampere and Helsinki in September 2019, Blue Man Group is known as the trio of blue and bald men, guaranteed to make their audience rock, laugh and party with them. The award-winning shows skillfully combine music, comedy and non-verbal communication.
Note! The tickets for Blue Man Group’s performances in Finland hit the ticket offices on Monday, May 20.
The shows of The BLUE MAN GROUP World Tour this autumn promise both classic Blue Man Group numbers as well as some new performances. Established at the Astor Place Theatre in New York in 1991, Blue Man Group has over the years grown into a global theatrical phenomenon. The stunning performances of the group appeal to all ages and have already gathered over 35 million spectators. You can see what they offer in here.
“We are absolutely thrilled to be able to come to Finland for the first time ever on our upcoming Blue Man Group 2019 World Tour. Since we do not speak on stage, all age groups, cultures and nationalities can enjoy our shows and the experience”, tells the Executive Managing Director of the Blue Man Group, Benoit Mathieu.
Founding member of Blue Man Group, Chris Wink, is equally excited.
“We could have never imagined all the places where our creation, the innocent and curious figure named Blue Man, would take us. It is a great honour for us to get to share the show with the Finnish audience”, Wink says.
Blue Man Group has continuously promoted and developed new ways of expression. The group has contributed to various cinema and television productions as well as published several albums and a book. The group’s rock concert parody Megastar World Tour took over the arenas worldwide.
See here how the founding members the Blue Man Group, Chris Wink and Phil Stanton, describe the start of the group and the ideology behind it.
The show is 90 minutes long, with no intermission.
Additional seats in use (Splash Zone).
The splash zone is the first five rows closest to the stage. Patrons in this area are given a plastic poncho to wear because sometimes materials splash the audience.
