The Nordic Blues Puls evening will present the Finnish ambassador of blues, the Wentus Blues Band, featuring star guests Knut Reiersrud (Norway) and Lisa Lystam (Sweden).

The Wentus Blues Band is one of the top names in Finnish blues. Numerous successful tours which have been completed across Europe with American blues legends have made the band an institution like no other in the Nordic countries. The band’s new album is called Throwback. It is a blues-toned diary which has been collected from the band’s experiences during their tours, and has been played commendably often on various outlets such as, for example, the blues radio channels in the US.

In the Nordic Blues Puls concert, the Wentus Blues Band will feature the Norwegian guitar virtuoso, Knut Reiersrud, and the talented Swedish vocalist, Lisa Lystam. Knut Reiersrud is considered to be one of the most talented blues guitarists in the Nordic countries. He has cooperated with various artists such as, for example, Dr John, Mighty Sam McClain, and the Blind Boys Of Alabama. Lisa Lystam is an excellent young singer who, according to the Dagens Nyheter newspaper, has a wide register and genuine stage charisma.
